Silverstone Museum Turns Five

Silverstone Museum is proudly celebrating its 5th anniversary this month, marking half a decade since its official grand opening in 2020, a momentous occasion attended by none other than Prince Harry and seven-time Formula 1 World Champion, Sir Lewis Hamilton.
Since that unforgettable launch, the museum has gone from strength to strength, cementing its place as a must-visit destination for motorsport fans and history buffs alike. Over the past five years, the museum has continually evolved, with a dynamic rotation of iconic cars and exhibits that keep visits fresh and exciting.
Highlights from the last five years include the installation of a cutting-edge racing simulator, offering visitors an immersive taste of high-speed action, and the introduction of exclusive experiences such as Winter Tours and Behind the Scenes Tours, giving fans even deeper access to the world of motorsport.
The museum also celebrated a record-breaking year in 2024, welcoming an incredible 500,000 visitors since opening.
