Silverstone Museum Introduces Friday Night Sims: An Exciting New Event for Racing Enthusiasts

Silverstone Museum is thrilled to announce the launch of an exhilarating new event: Friday Night Sims. On June 7th, from 5pm to 9pm, visitors will have the unique opportunity to experience the thrill of racing in a variety of interactive and engaging formats.

The highlight of the evening will be access to our state-of-the-art Sim Suite at Silverstone, powered by our partners, Radical Motorsport, where every guest is guaranteed a 30-minute slot on our cutting-edge racing simulators. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a racing novice, our simulators offer an unparalleled experience, bringing the excitement of the track to life in on our bespoke sim rigs.

In addition to the simulators, guests can participate in a 30-minute Scalextric Grands Prix on our specially designed Silverstone Scalextric set. This miniature racing challenge is perfect for all ages and skill levels, providing a fun and competitive atmosphere.

For those who prefer a different kind of racing thrill, we invite you to take control of remote control cars on our mezzanine, which overlooks the iconic Silverstone Circuit. It's a fantastic way to enjoy racing from a unique vantage point and test your skills in a new and exciting way!

Throughout the event, our Shop and Refuel Café will be open, offering the perfect pit stop to recharge and browse a selection of racing memorabilia, gifts, and refreshments.

Competition: Fastest Lap Challenge

To celebrate the launch of Friday Night Sims, Silverstone Museum is hosting a special competition on the night of 7th June. The person who sets the fastest lap on the simulators during the event will win an exclusive prize package, including an official F1 team cap and their very own Scalextric slot car! This is a fantastic opportunity for racing fans to showcase their skills and take home a memorable keepsake.
