David joined sports prototype manufacturer Mallock Racing, working up to managing the works team where he was responsible for building and running the cars.

In 1984, he transferred to RML, working primarily on the C1 Aston Martin and C2 Ecurie Ecosse World Endurance and Le Mans projects. The team achieved significant success, winning the 1986 FIA C2 World Endurance Championship and numerous races, including the 1985 and 1987 C2 class at Silverstone.

Alex has a deeply-ingrained love for motorsports and racing machines. Through the medium of games that were love letters to racing, cars, and the legends behind them, and seeking out television broadcasts of Grands Prix as a youngster, Alex has fostered an undying passion for speed, skill and spectacle.
