Exhibition Highlights
Coming this Easter is what remains of David Purley’s LEC CRP1, the car involved in one of the most dramatic crashes in motorsport history during pre-qualifying for the 1977 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Purley’s car struck the bank at approximately 110mph, coming to an almost instant stop, subjecting him to an astonishing 178.8G - one of the highest impact forces ever survived by a human being. This incredible testament to resilience and survival remains a significant part of motorsport history, offering a sobering yet fascinating insight into the dangers of racing and the advancements in safety that followed.
Aston Martin Safety Car
As we acknowledge the importance of safety in motorsport, we are pleased to welcome one of the first Aston Martin Formula 1 safety cars to our exhibition. The safety car has played a crucial role in motorsport since its first appearance at the 1973 Canadian Grand Prix, where it was deployed to manage dangerous conditions caused by torrential rain. Designed to neutralise the race, the safety car allows marshals to attend to incidents and ensures driver safety in extreme weather. Come and see how the F1 safety car differs from the road-going Aston Martin!
JOTA's 25th Anniversary
We are thrilled to welcome four legendary Le Mans-winning cars to our exhibition this April in a special display celebrating JOTA's 25th anniversary. This unique showcase will highlight the team’s incredible endurance racing legacy, giving visitors the rare opportunity to see these iconic machines up close. As JOTA marks a quarter-century of success in motorsport, this exhibition pays tribute to their remarkable achievements at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans. Don’t miss the chance to experience the history, innovation, and passion that have defined JOTA’s journey on the world’s most demanding race circuits.

Grand Prix Scalextric
The world famous Silverstone Formula 1 Circuit has been recreated by the team at Scalextric, enabling visitors to pick up a throttle and enjoy epic battles of pure racing nostalgia with iconic cars around the two lane Grand Prix circuit!
