Exhibition Highlights

Bring the family along to our Balloon Car Workshop, a hands-on activity where creativity and fun take the wheel! Running on December 13th, 14th, 15th, 21st, and 22nd, this workshop lets children design and build their own balloon-powered cars using materials like cardboard, cups, wheels, and straws. Once finished, test your creation on our mini racetrack to see how far it can go or challenge others for some friendly competition.

Perfect for ages 5 and up, with younger siblings welcome to join in. Everyone gets to take their car home as a keepsake. Led by our Senior Education Officer, this activity runs during opening hours and guarantees an exciting, educational experience!

Winter Tours

Motorsport fans can enjoy exclusive Winter Tours this December at the world-famous Silverstone Circuit. Running hourly on select dates, the tours include a guided bus around the iconic track, access to the International pit lane, wave the chequered flag and a chance to stand on the legendary winner’s podium. Ticket bundles start at £37.50 and includes museum access with hands-on exhibits, or Winter Tour-only tickets are available from £15. Scalextric and Top Trumps trail

The Silverstone Formula 1 Circuit has been recreated by Scalextric for a exhibit which enables visitors to enjoy epic battles with iconic cars around the two lane Grand Prix circuit. Each race tracks individual lap times, meaning you can race head-to-head or set a personal best! While admission is complimentary, we appreciate any donations towards our education workshops and outreach initiatives.
