About the role

Are you ready to take your finance career up a gear? As Management Accountant at Silverstone Museum, you’ll be right at the heart of a high-energy, multi-revenue organisation that’s as dynamic as the motorsport heritage it celebrates.

You'll be responsible for everything from revenue analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts to cashflow forecasting, budget creation and supporting new business developments. You’ll also take the lead in developing and maintaining strong financial systems and procedures, helping drive efficiency and compliance throughout the business.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you'll support senior leaders with valuable insights and guidance, presenting complex financial data in a clear and accessible way. About Us

Opening our doors for the first time in autumn 2019, we bring the fascinating story of Silverstone and its association with British motor sport to life through a dynamic, interactive and compelling visitor experience, all housed in a restored WWII aircraft hangar. Whether it’s immersing our visitors in our journey from a Benedictine Monastery to WWII airbase and finally the home of British motor sport, to getting up close and personal to some of the world’s best racing cars and motorcycles, plus walking part of the former F1 circuit, we offer a diverse and multi-experiential day out.

Set up as a charitable Community Benefit Society, our mission goes way beyond simply running an awe-inspiring visitor attraction. We have a strong commitment to preservation, conservation, education and inspiring the next generation in the world of science, technology and engineering.

Starting Grid Hi

About You

You’re a qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a solid grounding in finance systems, controls and accounting principles. You’re confident working with data, building financial models and providing valuable insights to support business decisions.

Highly organised and deadline-driven, you know how to manage your workload and stay calm under pressure. You’re a clear communicator—both written and verbal—and thrive as part of a collaborative team.

You're proactive, detail-oriented and passionate about continuous improvement. Most importantly, you’re committed to equality, diversity, and ethical working practices.

You will ideally have experience with Xero and knowledge of the Charity SORP and FRS 102.

As for where you’ve worked before, experience in the heritage and museum sector is useful, or within visitor attractions.   We would be happy to consider applicants looking to work part-time.
