For safety reasons and to ensure our visitors get the most out of their visit, we would recommend that one adult is responsible for no more than 6 children.

Yes, the Museum Shop will be available to access before and after you enter the Museum. If you arrive earlier than your allocated time slot, we are happy for you to browse the gifts and souvenirs in our shop.

Monday to Friday, you do not need a ticket to access the shop or café.  However, we do reserve the right to restrict access to ticket holders only on Saturdays, Sundays and major event days.

Yes, you can change your visit date for a £5 administration fee. All date changes are subject to availability and must be made before your visit date. To change the date of your visit, please email us via enquiries@silverstonemuseum.co.uk with your booking reference, new preferred visit date and time and your telephone number.

A free of charge (FOC) carer's ticket can be added to your booking online as required for each customer with a disability paying full price. You will be asked to provide proof of entitlement on entry to the Experience. We will accept the following documents:

– Letter/notice of entitlement for Disability Living Allowance/Personal Independence Plan

– Letter from your doctor

– Blue parking badge or Freedom Pass

Yes! We will restrict entry to the Silverstone Museum during the circuit’s major events, therefore if you would like to visit during these times you will be required to purchase an event ticket too. 

During the circuit’s smaller events, there’s no requirement for you to purchase an event ticket however if you’d like to extend your visit to Silverstone and watch some live racing on track then you will be able to purchase both tickets.

We welcome all registered guide dogs, hearing dogs and medical alert dogs into the attraction. If you wish to bring an assistance dog with you for your visit, please ensure you have formal identification for the dog with you such as any relevant documentation or jacket. We ask that if you would like to take part in the Heritage Track Trail that you contact us via enquiries@silverstonemuseum.co.uk so that we can make special arrangements with the circuit team.

We do not allow other dogs or pets to enter the attraction and they cannot be left in vehicles for safety reasons.

If your booking or query is related to a Silverstone Circuit Driving Experience, Tour or Track Event, please contact Silverstone Circuit directly on enquiries@silverstone.co.uk as although we work very closely with the circuit, Silverstone Museum is a separate company so your query will be dealt with quicker if you go direct.

The taking of photographs and capturing video footage with handheld cameras and mobile devices for personal use is allowed in all areas of the Silverstone Museum, apart from the entrance tunnel and end show. Please note, filming with the use of tripods and other specialist photographic equipment is not permitted.

Silverstone Museum is suitable for all ages and children aged four and under can visit for free, although they will require a ticket. All children must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 and over).

All you need for your visit are your tickets either printed at home or on your smartphone. Feel free to bring your camera and of course we advise that visitors dress appropriately for the weather for our Heritage Track Trail.

Yes. We will conduct bag checks on arrival at the Museum for everyone's safety and security. Silverstone Museum reserves the right to refuse entry if guests do not agree to a bag search. Please note our prohibited items:

  • Bags over 20 litre capacity
  • Glass bottles and glass containers
  • BBQs
  • Restricted and illegal substances
  • Offensive weapons
  • Items that are deemed dangerous, offensive or unsuitable
  • Drones or remote-controlled aircraft
  • Lasers
  • Fireworks / pyrotechnics
  • Any items which might be subject to ambush marketing
  • Smoke canisters  
  • Tents and shelters
  • Four-wheeled carry carts
  • Powered scooters (excluding disability scooters) or hover boards
  • Electric cycles 
  • Sun parasols
  • Alcohol
  • Animals & pets, except Guide Dogs
  • Bicycles
  • Any item, which in the opinion of Silverstone Heritage Ltd, may be used for the purpose of protest within the venue, including, but not limited to, flags, clothing, or any other item for the purpose of locking on.

It's easy to find us, just follow signs to Silverstone Circuit.

Please then follow the yellow signs with a Blue Dot for access into our car park from Dadford Road.

Car parking is available free of charge in front of the building, in car park 49. If you are using satnav, our postcode is NN12 8TN
