MUSEUM GEARS UP FOR STAR-STUDDED GALA

Famous faces from the world of Formula One and motorsport will be part of Silverstone Museum’s inaugural gala geared up to kickstart the British Grand Prix week.

For the first time ever, Silverstone Museum will open its doors at night for its spectacular, star-studded, black-tie gala dinner in an exclusive celebration staged at the heart of British motor racing.

The Museum, located trackside at the iconic Silverstone circuit, is hosting a unique and intimate evening on Wednesday 3 July, with limited tickets available for the exclusive event, where discerning diners will be seated amongst an array of priceless racing cars in the heart of the Museum. 

The distinguished setting is the perfect backdrop for the memorable experience being staged to showcase an intimate preview of the British Grand Prix, with special guests and icons from the world of Formula One and motorsport.

Guests attending the Silverstone Museum Gala will be able to enjoy a lavish evening of fine food and drink, live entertainment and bid in an exclusive charity auction. During the unforgettable evening gala, guests will experience exhilarating tales and extraordinary anecdotes from some of motorsport’s elite, including David “Crofty” Croft and fellow star guests Martin Brundle and Ross Brawn, with a special surprise appearance from a legend in the world of motorsport.

Silverstone Museum CEO, Phil Lawrie, said: “We are delighted to announce details of the inaugural Silverstone Museum Gala, which will be an unforgettable, exclusive event and a fantastic evening of celebration. As well as enjoying an amazing evening, set in the awe-inspiring backdrop of the Museum, guests will be supporting some inspirational charities. These include Race Against Dementia and the Grand Prix Trust, alongside allowing the Museum to continue its vitally important education program and protect the heritage of British motor racing.”

The gala celebration, hosted with the backdrop of historic iconic racing cars, motorbikes and unique motorsport memorabilia celebrating the past, present and future of British motor racing, will offer a memorable evening of entertainment with highlights and insights from motorsports special star guests.

Hosting the night will be David Croft, aka “Crofty” renowned as the modern voice of Formula One, who will be joined by fellow special guests from the world of F1 and motor racing.

This includes Ross Brawn, who recently stepped back from a storied 46 year career in motorsport and an incredible 22 World Championship successes. He will be sharing fascinating industry insights from working with the likes of champions Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and many more.

Also joining the star-studded line-up will be a familiar face from his hectic grid walks on Sky Sports F1, Martin Brundle. With an illustrious motorsport career, spanning 41 years, as an F1 driver and broadcaster, the former World Sportscar Champion and winner of the Le Mans and Daytona 24-hour races, will be another captivating celebrity guest at the gala.

The race is now on to purchase tickets for this distinguished dinner with limited seating for just 20 tables of 10. An eminent evening, filled with the essence of British motorsport, the prestigious Silverstone Museum Gala will include live entertainment and promises to be a lavish culinary celebration; with a sumptuous three-course meal showcasing locally sourced and produced British ingredients.

Museum leaders highlighted how there are multiple business benefits beyond the gala night on offer for companies booking Sponsor Tables, priced at £9,550 + VAT for 10 guests. This includes promotion on multiple Museum communication channels as well as a permanent plaque in the Museum, featuring the company’s logo, in recognition for the support provided for the popular attraction and partner charities being supported by the esteemed event.

There are also corporate tables available at £7,550 + VAT and non-corporate tickets options with a table of 10 bookable at £6,500 + VAT as well as individual tickets priced at £650 + VAT.
